Well, she is getting closer to completion. Picked up the tins last night and dropped them off at the builder this morning.
Sorry, couple crappy shots in different lighting..much to excited to stage better pics.
I will have to post up some photos of the bike in the sun...to really show the paints colors.
Also, has new tires...going with Commander II's instead of Metzler 880's this round.
Swapped the exhaust from screaming eagle race pipes to the D&D Bobcat.
The black on the pipe matches up with some of the pinstripping and paint. I wasn't sure if I should just go with straight chrome, cause she is kind of a chrome *****, but decided to mix it up a little and I think it is going to look just perfect to me.
The bike will be ready to pick up Saturday morning...the wait is excruciating.
I managed to put 480 miles on the bike and taking it in for an oil change tomorrow. She has an appointment with the dyno in one week and I am likely to have 1000 miles by then... so he can really push the bike.
The bobcat exhaust scrapes way to easily with the stance of the bike as she sits. I figured I went this far so I might as well take care of the suspension and lift the old gal back up a bit. I ordered Progressive 442s for the rear and the monotubes for the front.
Racking up the break-in miles, stopped by the Rock Store this morning....
Quite a different look than your typical Sunday...where you can hardly find a spot to park.
After the suspension, I swear I am done modding the bike. Time to just ride.
