Time for a new seat . I really like how many different ways you can change up bmc seats. I have the gunslinger in all black now and trying to weigh it versus the widowmaker. Is it actually good for a passenger?
My passenger doesn't hate the Widowmaker on short rides, it's definitely not as comfortable as the stock seat for her. Fine for around town or rides under a couple hours. If we are going far, she asks me to put the stock seat back on.

Hey what kind of riser extensions are those sir? Im having a hell of a time finding ones that will work with the flair of the stock risers on the bottom.
Not thinking about buying it. It looked nasty to me too. If I was going to get an FXR I'd get a more stock one for sale close by and upgrade it. I was just wondering if anyone had seen forks like this on a dyna (or fxr) before. I haven't and thought it was weird that they're MX shocks. I mentioned it was for sale for anyone who might see it and want an FXR.
I'd be interested in knowing how the owner did the swap.
The MX forks are talked about every now-and-then over on Chop Cult. All the brands more or less use the same setup for any given year range.
Kawasaki KX250 From 1991-2007 used 43mm, 46mm and 48mm over the years. All seem to be 37.25" long.
The last Gen from 2004-2007 was the following
KYB - 1021 & L 1021-R - CHROME OD 48MM - C/L 37.5" - UPPER 55.9MM - LOWER 59.2MM - BRAKE MOUNT 102MM - AXLE CLAMP ID 20MM & 25MM
They are longer then GSXR Forks so it makes them easier to mount since you don't need drop trees for the GSXR.
As mentioned they will be under sprung since they are designed for a ~250lb bike and a 140lb rider. Plenty of spring and rebuild kits out there that could theoretically correct that.

My girl can last about 45 min max and she starts squirming. And she's got plenty of cushion already. I bought a big ugly sundowner for long rides with her. Otherwise, I ride the Corbin. It's broken in the more I ride it and I've had it a little over a year.
