Curious what the advantage is to a tubeless set up?
Much less hassle if you pick up a nail in your tire, you can use a plug kit to limp home instead of calling for a truck to get the bike to a shop for repairs. When tubeless tires get punchered, they tend to lose air a little (or a lot) slower than a tube type which gives you more time to slow down and get off the road.
Only tubeless spoked rim I've ever seen, did not have the spokes penetrating the rim wall... there was another inner ridge of wheel metal that the spoke nipples went into.. rather from the side IIRC... was kinda weird looking.
Not saying it doesn't exist, but I'd love to get the link to see one

Edit: CG you scooted in right underneath me (or "above" in this case )
Harley Tubeless Profile Rim below. I haven't seen the Dyna sized versions, but Antonio ***** has said that they are on his Dyna in a few posts. I'd like to see a pic of his showing "Tubeless"
That's great info CG.. thanks man.... gonna take a closer look at the info on my rims... double check to see if they are the tubeless type, I didn't think they were, but they did come off a '08 & '09 FLHTCU, so it's possible.

If your rims are OE for '08-'09, probably won't be tubeless capable...don't think they were available in those years
