Has anyone order the 21" wheel from j&p? Part #2000195

Several of us on here have built wheels using chrome spokes and nipples. Now that we have had them a while, I think most of us wish we'd use stainless.
This wheel at J & P is chrome rim, nipples, spokes, and hub. I think six months down the road, you will also be sorry you went that route.
Sorry, read your post, then responded without looking at the link you included. That ia the rim I am using and am pleased with it after a years use. No problems with the chrome and no rust. I'd have no reservations comparing it to at least OEM quality.

Odd...The link I posted should have just been rim only. I have definitely read enough posts from you guys warning about the chrome spokes and nipples to know not to use them. The spoke set j&p recommended to me is #2000141 which is the stainless spokes and nipples. I only want to know the quality of the rim its self. If its oem or better I think 100 bucks isn't too bad. The stainless spokes are 100 bucks by themselves but I would rather pay the extra 60 and save myself the headache later. Are you sure that #2000195 is for rim, nipples, spokes, and hub?

LOL I responded at the same time you did. Thanks for your help that's really all I needed to know. I asked j&p about the quality and his response was "its...okay...." Not very reassuring when your spending your hard earned cash...

By the way jmpancoast...does 9 3/4" spokes sound right to you?
I hear a lot on here not to go with chrome spokes but I did it anyways. I got the complete wheel from v-twin chrome everything and that was well over 2 years ago and the wheels look just like they did when I got em, very nice, clean no rust, no problems and wow they look sweet!
OK, another pic with approximate measurements. These are not exact but lead me to believe 9 3/4" is going to be too long. At that length, I would think your nipples will bottom out before the can tighten the spoke in the rim, or they will protrude too much for the rim strip and tube.
p.s. A poem for MUD:
My previous picture got quoted
while it was too big and the post was still bloated.
I immediately went to resize,
but maybe not before it was caught by your eyes.
