Got any pics of you sitting on the bike? I am trying to figure out seat and bars myself, im 6'6. Also would like to see a pic of the seat on the bike if you can?
Here's the setup. I will get the pictures of me on it when I'm with it. again
Figured I should post a review a few thousand miles later. I ended up going with the le pera daytona dll on the fwd controls and with 13" lucky 13 bars. The set-up is more than good enough for me (6'5" with a 39.5" inseam). I'd love to have a little extra padding in the seat but then it wouldn't look anywhere near as good. Did 500 miles today after getting off work and no worse for wear but I doubt the girlfriend would be happy about the same trip on the back since it's not really made for two-up long over distance.
6'5 on a FXD with Mids. Bike came with forwards which I immediately swapped out. The
Forwards for me felt just as "cramped" as the mids since I was still bending my knees and not "stretched out". The end result is Mids at least give you a more controlled seating position
Now I just need the seat to scoot back 1/2" - 1". I'm leaning toward a Pedrinho Bancos Seat once they come out with a Pre-06 version. They don't have fancy gel, but they are affordable and well made.
Got the Le Pera Daytona "daddy long legs" seat on and went for a ride. It moves you back a good 2 inches. Big change for this tall guy. I feel like it puts me in the proper position now with the forward mids. Pretty pumped as I did not want to put forward controls on. I am 6'6. Revzilla has it for a real good price.
Well I'm not as tall as you guys. I'm 6'1" but blessed(or cursed, depending on how you look at it) with longer legs, 205lbs. I use LePera Dayton Sport with no issues.
