Did it Memorial Weekend. It's not the treat it was last time we rode it. Pavement took a hit this winter, so pay attention.... But still fun.
If you have time for a real treat. Turn off in Kooskia, hwy 14 south to hwy 14, out to Elk City and back. It turns to gravel out of Elk city, so you get to turn around and ride it back. No traffic and plenty of curves and scenery.....

Yes we did..see them, And yes they do party. They think we are crazy riding motorcycles.... Ya Right! We do it every year, Stay at the Clearwater motel in Kamiah..

Do it. The road is US12 and once on it, take it all the way across Washington to I-5. It is worth it over the Cascades.

Both ways, every season, bike and car, probably 20 times. It never gets old.

Do NOT miss this ride. (That's a little piece of the road through the trees right at 3 o'clock.)
