Default 10" yaffee

I see a lot of threads, but didn't find one on the M8.

What exactly do I need to install 10 or 12 inch yaffee?
I'm sure wire extensions, but are the hydraulic hoses long enough?
Also, I assume I will still need the CVO TBW?

Thanks for the help in advance.

For 10s you should be fine with all stock stuff. Wires and cables.

I hac 10" yaffees put on my '17 RG and was advised that I would need one wire extension that was about $16. I looked at the ticket and wasn't charged for anything of the sort, so I presume that the tech didn't need it. You should be good to go.

For the 10" Yaffe's you are good with all of your stock cables and TBW. For the 12" you may have to cut the zip ties inside your fairing and reroute some of the wiring but should still have enough with factory wiring. There should be enough cable for the clutch and the front ABS lines as well but if anything, that is where you might need new cables. I installed the 14" Yaffe's on my 2017 CVO SG and I needed wire extensions and new cables but not by much. I think you should be good to go.

I have a set of 12" YMBB that will hopefully arrive later this week. Plan to install them on my '17 RGS this coming weekend. I'll report back afterwards. From what I've read, the stock clutch and brake cables should be fine. I have some 18 gauge wire on-hand to extend the controls wiring if needed. Still trying to decide what I want to do about the TBW wire. I'll most likely eliminate the stock wiring for heated grips as I don't plan to ever install. Anything to make the internal wiring easier. I did a set of 13" prime apes on a '14 SGS a few years ago. Biggest pain was the internal wiring. The RGS seems to be a lot less involved of an install compared to the batwings, so hopefully it all works out.

I have 10" Yaffe apes on my 17 RGS, & all the stock cables work fine. No extensions needed.
