Default Quick and dirty temporary horn mount

Temporary quick and dirty horn mount version 1.0. There may never be a 2.0 version as i need the space in the bag. I will peobably leave this until i complete my permanent mount. Sound wise it actually works very well eith the sound bouncing off the flared windshield. I learned seceral lessons such as do not use a hole saw and dont forget to make a hole for tbe wires ( I did.) i finished ar midnight and was dying to hear it loud so i went on the freeway. It sounded great! Thx Haze!

Update: Pros: Sounds great in this configuration with a flared windshield. I was standing directly on the side of the bike and saw that I was seeing the entire horn through the flare in the windshield. This would mean that the sound would be bouncing forward toward the rider. Indeed when I was on the side the sound of the tweets was far less than when behind the windshield. I like this as I feel like they would be a little too close together facing forward. Facing sideways the channels separate nicely. However, facing forward would be easier to do as you do not have to cut the existing reinforcement and you could sit them on the bottom on the fairing. Cons: The windshield bag is just not designed to handle this kind of weight. Lots of reinforcement necessary to make this work. Even then the tab that slides down into the fairing is not robust enough to handle the weight so it tends to slump forward and the entire bag separates from the tab. (Solved with two sided tape). It would be better to have the horns at the bottom resting on the inner fairing. However, the plastic reinforcement bends at the bottom making mounting difficult. If you faced them forward it would be much easier to mount as you do not have to cut through the plastic reinforcement. If so I recommend they lay on the fairing, add a flat plastic reinforcement and I would think the tab would need some type of reinforcement. So I think this is doable, but there are a lot of issues to overcome. i would think a complete custom inner reinforcement would be best along with something to reinforce the tab. As it is now I basically have them mounted with duct tape. As a temporary solution it is fine, but much more development as listed above needed as a permanent solution.

Not sure how it can sound good considering they are pointing away from you. Sure they are probably loud enough with you being so close to them with their loudness, but theoretically speaking, it's not gonna sound like they should.

with a flared windshield it hits the flare and bounces toward the rider. Probably would not work as well with a regular windshield. You could date them forward instead if to the sides.
