I bought my helms at a official HD retailers and it wasnt cheap . I just thought at some point it was normal . Its not going fully behind my head it just pull back a little and I find it uncomfortable . Also for the record I dont give a dam what sport bikes forum think about me .
Ill check the lone star helm thanks .
No sir - it is not normal. I've ridden half helmets for at least ten years, on bike with and without fairings. I can definitely feel it pull on bikes with no fairing, but it doesn't move.
And I don't give a damn what sportbike riders think of you either!
YUP!! The adjustability makes it fit perfectly and it is relatively low profile for a real DOT half helmet. (HD also sells a branded version. They call it the Pioneer Sun Shield half helmet.)
A German style novelty half helmet pulls off at speed? I would have never expected that..the aerodynamics of military helmet knock-offs must be deficient.
These are the kind of threads that make Sport Touring forums laugh at us.
Prussian cavalry helmet (Pickelhaube) stays steady at speed. Mine came from the collection of Robert Williams as a "loaner".

Just got mine today and it replaces a Harley brand. The Harley isn't bad but the adjustment ring on the Pit Boss is awesome. I noticed significantly less rise of the helmet today and it's also about half a pound lighter.
