If the helmet has a removable liner just take it out and add some material (soft cloth) between the liner and the foam. Not everones head falls exactly on a full size.
I bought a German style half helmet . It fits my head really good but at higher speed like around 50-55 mph the wind pull it back a little and it kind of goes behind my head .
Im I the only one experiencing this ? Anyone got tips ? And if its all good for you could you share me a link to your Half helm ?
I had an other non German style half helm before and it was doing the same and thats why I changed for an other . Maybe its normal I guess ?
I've tried them all except a full face and three quarter and have yet to find one that won't slide back on my skull. I've tried all sizes, DOT, non DOT, removeable liners, beanie caps, chin cups, 4 point head harnesses, long hair, short hair and nothing works. On the Softail with no windshield it's a joke as soon as I hit 55 it starts to slide back a bit, anything over 75 and my entire forehead get's exposed. I don't need to use my speedo just check helmet position. On the Street Glide all helmets ride fine and it's a non issue.

I have a friend that has a German helmet and all he does is tighten the chin strap a little more and he doesn't have any problems with it slipping and he rides much faster than 50-55. Like others have said, maybe your helmet doesn't fit your head properly.
Why is it cool to wear a German helmet, but un-cool to ride a Japanese bike?
Why are all German helmets worn by HD riders (and wannabe's) but BMW riders never wear them? Has to be some kind of fashion statement.
Many years ago it was explained to me that the German helmet thing was just to **** of the "establishment". That I understand. Is that still the motivation? A beanie, I understand, but a beanie with wings it tough to figure out.
A German style novelty half helmet pulls off at speed? I would have never expected that..the aerodynamics of military helmet knock-offs must be deficient.
These are the kind of threads that make Sport Touring forums laugh at us.
I've never known anyone wearing one of those that could ride out of a paper bag with no bottom in it. "The wind pulls my helmet off my head"; just think what the pavement can do. German style motorcycle helmets and worn out shoe soles go together; walk it to get it going, landing gear out before a stop.

First off, you are wearing the wrong size "helmet." (I used quotes there as a half helmet offers the same protection as a peanut shell.)
Next, what's with this "German style" helmet? You trying out for the next "Hogan's Hero's" movie? Do you ride a BMW or DKW?
Got the spike on your head to "look menacing?" Cops can use that as "probable cause" just FYI.
Get a 3/4 helmet (at least) from a reputable mfr.
Work your way up to the ultimate...a FF helmet.
edit~ Actually, I just re-read your original post again, verbatim. Might be too late on the helmet thingy altogether...
