That's great bud. Go all out and make it your ride. Much respect to those who think outside the box. Don't keep track of what you spend cause you're gonna wanna kick your own butt when you add it up. Lol
Been apart of the forum for about 8 years, I've rebuild my Rocker twice and I'm working on it for the 3rd time.
Post up your ride in the Rocker picture thread.

low and behold I'm going with a Andrews cam, bob woods is a *****, ill say it just like that, I called him with a problem, guy said I'm making his eggs cold, I will not support a company like that, than he said if I send BRAND NEW CAMS TO HIM, if box has a scratch he's charging me 50-100$$$ who does he think he is???? Andrews makes his cams, and honestly, the more I learn, the 48h,54h, Andrews has better numbers anyway,.....so , its slll good, motor is in the mail checked on my baby today, this is a shop that takes pride, first I left my helmet when I was there, he pulled a bag from a NEW helmet, and put mine in a bag, on his personal shelf, with has towels under it, the helmet is in window, than the pics speak for them selves, my bikes was wrapped so tight, a roach couldn't find his way in there!!!!

I think your making the right move, I really like the Andrew 48, and it's a proven winner, intake close at 29 will come on around 2K RPM. The 54 is a little closer to the TW 6-6, but with a 555 lift and intake close at 42, so again, it will come on later, 3K RPM+. Take a look at the 57H also, it's basically the same cam as the 37H like I have in my BO, but with a 560 lift, it's intake close is at 38, so it'll come on a little sooner then the 54H.

actually, final decision was a S&S 570CE Easy Start, I didn't wanna keep pulling those Reliefs up every start,What if it broke out there on road?, and if I forget??? no good,lol.....btw for those who don't know about harlets BEST KEPT BEARING SECRET, they've been shipping there bikes since, not sure when 07 or so, with china made SINGLE row wheel bearings NO GOOD, I have Timken Dual Row, wheel bearings going in 33 buck a pop, all4 are the same, honestly, you don't need Timken's, I just feel my wheel bearing should be as good as it gets, but I've seen pairs of duals for 25 bucks heres some pics of the problems, if you google, youll find stores of front wheel, straight LOCKING UP?????!!!!!

THE CULPRITS, HOW DO YOU INSTALL CHINA MADE SINGLE ROW BEARING IN WHEELS, TIMKENS GOING IN MINE, BUT IVE SEEN THEM AS CHEAP AS 25 A PAIR FOR DOUBLE ROW, THATS WHAT YOU WANT, UNLESS YOU LIKE YOUR WHEEL TO LOCK UP WHEN THAT BEARING FREEZES UP ON YOU,,, TIMKENS ARE 35 A POP, BUT WORTH IT TO ME....Reminds me of there POOR excuse of roller bearings in Cam Assembly, wonder why EVERY manufacture cam install kit comes with Torrington Bearings, or similar,LOL,, Harley and bearings, the cases, they do a Timken Bearing mod as well if you want to see what nice wheel bearings look like these are priced per bearing

Ss570 compareS to andrews 54h AND 37H With the number, its between, I have the low end tq, so I don't need it down low as it is I pull wheel up just about, I rather my power when I twist the throttle, not at a light or turning in slowly into blocks, etc, thats be too much...
INTAKE CLOSE 20/40
LIFT .570
DURATON .20
TDC .179
VALVE TIMING EXAUST 55/20
CENTERLINE EXAUST 107.5

no more bad bearings

all chrome hardware going here, lol and all over engine cases, were replacing EVERY bolts with a Chrome bolt, the stock looked weathered?and these are stronger bolts were getting, so no stripping etc
