Basically, my Rocker with its 30/70 pulley mod and the S&S 583C cams is stronger off the line, 1st-3rd gear, it would get the edge, then the BO with the 103 and Andrews 37H cams, would pull away. I'll give a more detailed comparison on one of my threads, so I don't clutter up Tommy's.

I was told the 96's are faster by 3 different motor builders and that Harley only cares about displacement for people who don't have a clue, look at the numbers Harley's screaming eagle 110 puts out??? Not even 100 HP, NOT IMPRESSIVE AT ALL, My TQ numbers going to be WELL over that....and ill have a 107'''' don't get stuck on the displacement like I did........I pull on a buddy's breakout all the time...honestlly even before the gears...than again, he is a bit of a lolly girl....im much more aggressive all the way around....

the cam comes on immediately, and my builder, I'm going off what he says, I had nothing to do with it, I had a 583c at my house, and when I returned him AND my mechanic said it was the right move, there a lot of people on here that Hillside from NY did 107' build forts well as others, but he knows how to build around the cam, the numbers might say this or that, and I asked him cause it said its a STOCK cam, he said forget that, I'm not doing just cams, were building a entire motor, throttle body, injectors....full monty...but the cam off there website says it pulls from idle...these are expensive cams, and after holding both, I see why, there is a definite difference..im trusting my builder, I could by any cam I wanted, he knows my weight, my bike, and what I want, this is what the dr ordered.....

W6-TW6 This is the cam
http://www.woodcarbs.com/cams.htm

again, this is the smallest part of build the lifters cost just about as much lol...they are revolutionizing products...

a Directional lifter???, if you read up, no one out there, even SS best lifter compares...no lift limit on twin cams, awesome, its not just the lifter its what it does with the oil, the bleed down rates, I read up on these products, and I want them.well I have them now..hahah

Ya, if you like Woods, and you want the torque to the right a little, like the TW 6-6, look at the TW777 or TW888. If you want to keep the lower 510 lift, then the TW 222 the "Triple Deuce" looks like a nice option, intake closes at 34, so it should be a little stronger down low then the TW 6-6....Don't get me wrong, the numbers the TW 6-6 can be very impressive in a 107, the peak torques just a little more to the right of the curve then I thought you were looking for. I also thought with a build like yours, you might go with a little more aggressive cam.

The stock springs will handle up to 590 lift, check it out, but I think usually the compression needs be set higher then 10.0/1 when using 600+ lift cams, but there may be exceptions to that....also, you can't believe everything you read, my Andrews 37H cams don't come on near the 2200RPMs that the Andrews site says, but if I knew about intake close numbers and how they relate to the torque curve, before I bought and installed them, I would have known that... The cam spec numbers and dyno sheets are the only way to really know where a cam will be strongest!

A 107 with the tw6-6 pops 125+/125+, I would be astonished. Most cam manufactures seem to have great results when looking at their website dynos. Surprise surprise!
