Which Viking Bags are you running, and do they have enough storage for an overnight trip? Looking at possibly going the same route.
Hey brother
the Viking bags are smaller than I thought they would be, they will get the job done but I also have a detachable sissy bar to throw a pack on. Also Viking sent me the wrong hardware twice and they are kinda a let down in the quality area, I ended up getting my own hardware, if I was to do it over I would have tried to get switchback bags to fit. Are you on an fxdf?
Oh yea they are the large lamellar

Looking for pics of a dyna fxd with a bare bones seat - thanks
Not the latest one, but right now it's at Doc Weavers, completely stripped and getting a reaming. But this is the seat I use and ride the hell out of. It's comfortable, low and sharp looking Imo. I do see a problem with it after I get it back. I'm afraid it won't have enough back rest on it to keep me from sliding off. But I'll know the answer to that tomorrow. (I haven't had her for 4 weeks)
Finally getting my FXDLS dialed in enough to share. Following the usual recipe. 13.5 DS adjustable shocks, JD Customs fairing, Bung King bars and risers, moved the gauges up to the bars, modified C&C Sport Tour seat.
