Where I live, the weather is horrible. We get lots of ocean haze that embraces everything and thereby everything rusts much faster than otherwise. On top of that, we get lots of rain and cold weather.
What is the best Harley to keep for many years in those conditions?
I am considering a Road Glide for the many windy, wet and rainy days or one of the last wide glides available since they have much less electronics (I imagine).
I really like the new Fat Boy too - but I don't appreciate how it is named after the two nuclear bombs. Is that even true?!

The reference to nuclear bombs is the stuff of legend and has never been acknowledged or confirmed.
These bikes are meant to be ridden in the rain, regardless of how electronically "advanced" they are. Most of the time when there are electrical problems from water these are usually when the bike is improperly cleaned with a high pressure hose.
Living in a salty area will affect most metals and finishes. You just have to keep on top of it and give a good rinsing every now and then.
