I have the Road Warrior on my FXDLS. I don't like to have too much of the wind blocked, if I get in a bubble I tend to ride too fast and rack up tickets. Got the 11" screen on mine, and with a full face Shoei Neotec and my height (5'8") I get some buffeting on the top of my head unless I duck slightly above 60mph. I swapped to a friends 17" shield and the buffeting over the top was gone and it was a lot smoother air.

In all it does a decent job of keeping the mass of insects off my helmet, but I'll be buying a 17" for longer trips. I like that they are easy to change, as the looks of the 11" fit my bike, and the 17" looks like one of those women who try to type with too-long fingernails. But for function over form it wins, and 2 minutes to swap makes it worthwhile.

Not really a fairing, but I do like this.

It's the Dart flyscreen.

Do you have any info on the gauge platform? Looks like a great place to store an oil pressure gauge I've been meaning to get, and a place to mount a Powerlet USB doohickey.

you see a side view ,the box and one of two brackets. it took five minutes or so to install. I had a cheap bikini fairing from amazon, bought it to see if it truly worked. it did well enough so I broke down and ordered the dart. it blocks more wind for it's size, just want it to be positioned a wee bit more forward do I'm going to put two thick rubber washers behind the top screws. I'll put up another pic of the little difference? if any?

here's the link https://www.dartflyscreens.com/
the one I have is for the sporty 1200, the other is for 49mm front end. that one looks like it can be raised a little bit higher to block a wee bit more air.. over all I like this fairing.

cheers

Np... It took about 9 days to get it, which really isn't bad considering it was shipped from England. I'll post another side view tomorrow after I rig it, to be a little more forward.

Here's the pictures, I also included a pic of the rubber washers I used to push the screen forward. I'm 6'5 and the wind now hits me at the jaw line..
