I need to start this over in Softails cuz I'm tearing off the headlight and fairing from the lowrider S and am going to create something but definitely would like to learn from everyone else as I go!
I made another fairing using an old conley usa t-sport fairing and part of a new softail fairing with harley-davidson quick detachable clamps off an old clamshell/quarter fairing, and fiberglass. I made brackets out of some joice hangers and aluminum and it goes on my homemade top triple that I had mounts welded on and use a top mount headlight. I made the headlight extension out of some simpson hardware I had laying around.
Here is my wide glide with new road captain fairing. Beautifully made and no more wind or ear plugs. Other pics show 2.5" tank lift from dk. Starting to look like my own
Tank lift looks awesome mate - about to do my FXDF, but I only ordered a 2” lift, looking at how good yours looks I might send it back & go the 2.5”as well!
