Got a 2014 street bob with the 49mm forks. Not sure i got the right hardware. Anyone got any pics or suggestions for install of fairing. I have seen clamps used instead of some of the provided hardware. Thanks in advance
Well did a little research going to use fork clamps for the upper part of the fairing instead of using the triple clamp brackets to the pinch bolts cause i see now way in hell to attaching them unless i do some fab work to the brackets themselves. But if any one else has any other suggestions or fork clamp brands to use please drop me a line.

well i used some HD locking clamps to mount mine. i decided to make it totally removable so i can easily work on the bike and clean off all the bugs. so i used four clamps and drilled two holes, one in each lower corner. (not for everyone but that's how i wanted it.)
Any 49mm clamp will work but you will want the longer collet struts from Rifle to do the job right. The included ones are just a bit too short. I used just the top portion of the longer ones.

Oldlefty - do you mean you drilled right into the fairing? Did you just line it up and go? I have the same clamps that I'm going to use as well, did you need the longer collet struts or just whatever it came with?
Also - what bags you got on there? They look great!

I'd like more information/pictures on this setup, too. OldLefty, can you post more pics? Thanks.
I mounted as quick detachable with Memphis Shades brackets for 49MM forks. Cut and welded so fits snug around headlight. Can pop on/off for cleaning. I mounted half a plastic tray inside as a shelf with foam covering(looks good and practial as small storage spot.
