I got taken out by a lady turning left in front of me back in early May. 17 weeks later I'm back on the road. Decided to change a few things during the rebuild.
Swapped the smoothie wheels over to a set of RSD Delmar in machine ops finish. Still 18x5.5 with 180/55/18 front and back.
Also swapped out the 12" Progressive 444 shocks and lowering kit for a set of 11" Pro-Action Street Series shocks. Huge difference in ride quality with the shocks, and the RSD wheels are easily half the weight of my other ones.
Feels good to be back on the road. Missing the entire summer sure sucked.
2 is always better than 1. I just wanted to be clean on one side of the wheel. It's a 13" rotor with a HHI 6 piston caliper. It stops pretty well actually.

Mine is an 07. Front wheel tracks perfectly. Converting this bike to 180 front and rear has been the best thing I've done to it. It's a little more work on the pre 09 bikes because the rear only accepts a 150 under the stock fender, but has been well worth it.
