I also have magnum clutch cables but had my mechanic install them when I changed my handlebars so was not involved when he adjusted the clutch lever.
I will be installing a Muller Power Clutch (i.e. inner and outer clutch ramps). Seems like a simple install but the clutch cable adjustments are a little different...like upside down. I read something that said the top connector has to stay stationary while you loosen the lock nut and lower connector. Seems like you move the lock nut down and move the lower connector up so create total slack in the cable. Does that sound right?

yes sir. almost the same as the throttle/idle cables. i think it's two 7/16 (or 11mm) open wrenches or whatever adjustable type tool you have handy that won't mar the adjusters. you got it right.
i was going to do magun or barnett for the throttle cables so it all matched but, those cables failed so, at that time, i replaced them with stock to continue building/test asap.
that was some pretty fast shipping from jagg on these anti-rotation goods.
will swing by a hardware store and get some longer screws tomorrow.
Think I may get my buddy (the one that made my ign switch bracket )
to cut me one that has a 'flat' instead of a 'point' so it wont dig into the
case. Just don't care for that right angle on the case - too little contact
area IMHO...

You are right. There is too little and I'm sure thats why this happened but, it took years of vibes. I guess this just started or the something just gave way. I need to look at the one on my dyna and see how it's doing.

fun times
Since you're doubling up, why not grind a bevel matching the case at that corner?

i think id newd to make one in order to do that. So little of the material actually touches the case that the little that rubbed off caused it to rotate forward. That may be what is needed. Like T is plotting on doing. So wider contact area and contoured. Might be the plan. Thank you.
