Couldn't say, I've ridden them except of the twinkie version and had springers back in the day on a pan then shovel chop. Myself I never warmed to the handling but that's me and my bad habits.

You can buy a springer for a lot less money, than a new softail.

Well, I love my "junk that is the worst bike Harley every made" according to up above a few pages.

I've had an FXD, an FLHS, and my wife has had an XL1200C. Ridden a few other Harleys too, as well as metrics back in my youth.

I'm 6'5", 215 lbs, and have a totally SHOT lower back. From L2, all the way down to S1.

And my Springer is the most comfortable bike I've had. Great riding position, and it's like floating on a cloud.
