Thanks! It's difficult to think that the picture is 47 years old.
I initially paid $750 for it, a months after I got out of the Marines. It was a jockey shift, plus I didn't have a license and had never ridden a bike before. But I knew what I wanted and what I wanted it to look like. I added the sissy bar, pipes, seat, front end and all of the chrome.
If I could ever get off my dead ***, I've got a photo album of pictures of it before I added stuff and my club days. The album is boxed up but I never think about looking for it and haven't for 13 years.
COC I think it would well worth your while to find the old album , I for one would love to see a few more pictures of you in your club days..

I've had several close friends on here saying the same thing. The worst part is, I'd have to take pictures of the pictures. That's what I did with my bike picture.

I too want a chopper for a second bike. There are allot of good deals.to be had on Craigslist and ebay. It is cheaper to buy one already done and titled and modify it. Too expensive to build from the bottom up. It's not worth what you put into it.
"My Little Pony" 2005 American Ironhorse LSC. I got it new in Jan. 06. Tough on an old man's spine. About 8 k miles on it when I sold it, Dec. of 16. Really well balanced but always scared me in the turns...compared to my SGS a much more raw ride...at time I miss it.

What scared you? The way it leaned or something else?
Okay. When I was younger I had a long chopper pedal bike. Weighted a ton but fun as hell going downhill. One day my brother and me were jumping off a ramp with this bike and we broke the forks. So we extended them allot. And taking bends sucked. So I kind of understand what you mean. Not saying completely, but I do get how it wanted to go straight and didn't turn too good.
