You lowered the tubes in the triples? How far did you raise them?
Its about 7/8" is the max that you can adjust. I ensured that the tubes are not hitting the handle bar (although not proven, so that there are no vibrations transmitted). check out the last pic, it shows how far.
Fingers crossed that the fender doesn't contact the bottom triple tree now since you slipped the forks down in the trees - cause... I totally want to do the same!
I hope not. Down the road, going to install these bump stops. This is another inexpensive option. Still experimenting...

9. Oberon Levers I highly recommend for those individual with shorty fingers (or arthritis, carpal tunnel, etc)! The difference between the stock and Oberon levers is the reach angle as shown on the pictures below. Even with the stiffness of the hydraulic clutch, it engages and disengages flawlessly. These ergonomic levers have multiple reach adjustments which provides fingertip modulation specifically front brake control. I also like the ability to customize the colors on levers and switches; in which, I picked the black and silver to match the overall theme of the bike.
I love it!!! Documenting the build is a great idea - I wish I would have documented my build! Your bike looks good!!! Cannot wait for the finished product.
10. Stage 1.5 M8 exhaust sound is very subjective. It varies from riders perspective on loudness, tone, and comparison of previous engines (Twin cam, EVO, etc). My opinion on M8 with SE 4.5 Street Cannons is quiet. I am also annoyed on the gargle sound after letting the throttle off. Fortunately, a Fuel Moto Jackpot M8 2/1/2 head pipe appeared on the classified section. I was glad to acquire it to enhance the sound of my exhaust system.
I am pleased on the quality of this head pipe - stainless steel construction, smooth mandrel bends, and clean TIG welds. I also noticed that the merge collector has some type of pipe reducer insert. It could be for venturi effect or sound tuning capability (I left it on for now). Certainly, the catless feature and the retention of OEM heat shields are useful for heat dissipation.
I also replaced the blunt tips with the two-piece slant tips. I suspect that the blunts hollow design induces turbulent air flow; producing the annoying gargle sound. The slants inner piece looks like a slotted suppressor that smooths out the sound for throaty roll on and off. To tie it all together, I used Power Vision canned map from Fuel Moto and completed multiple autotune runs. Overall, I am happy with the rich exhaust note and deep bass rumble that are pleasant to my ears to include whiny neighbors.
