Got the sprocket reworked as I didn't feel the nut was tight enough. I had the same issue as most with the standard sprocket locking tool not sitting far enough back on the sprocket when turning the nut clockwise so used a tie down to secure the locking tool to the frame below the swingarm hub.
Got the inner primary back on, new Baker Attitude chain tensioner installed and the drive chain with compensator and clutch hub back on.
Greased up the new tensioner and gave it a spin to make sure everything looked good, the clutch was good, and the chain didn't rub on anything.
Finally got the rear lights done. Used a Custom Dynamics LED plate bracket and Alloy Art strut lights. Have the strut lights hooked up to run as running and brake lights. Used new pins and connectors so everything plugs in the same as OEM. Here it is with just the running lights on. Hopefully get the front KG3 LED signals done later this week.
No brake:
Brakes!
Also going a different direction with my saddlebags. The beginning of it arrived today:
Are amber brake lights legal? I thought amber was reserved for signal and position...
Here, yes I believe they are. They have to be predominantly red or amber I think. Even if not, I want as much brake warning as possible. They aren’t DOT approved though due to size.
If you have brakes applied and a turn signal on, the turn signal activated will function as turn only, i.e. on-off-on-off.

I would have at least one DOT brake light on the back for your own safety. People have a hard enough time seeing us, getting rear ended would not be fun!
It ended up being too windy to rake leaves in the afternoon so I finished up my primary work and went for a little ride to make sure no fluids were leaking.

I finally put her to bed for the winter. Super depressed. Time to start powder coating though!
It is sad to hear that...I'm over in Denver and dont ever need to winterize or stop riding for longer than a couple of weeks. Its a nice secret here, the weather is rarely bad and we are protected by the mountains which takes the brunt of any bad weather.
What are you thinking of powder coating?
