After trying C&C and Mustang solo seats I decided to give the HD Low Profile Solo Touring seat a try. Best solo seat I've ever rode. Very comfortable and looks great. It will sit you down and back about an inch. https://www.harley-davidson.com/stor...o-touring-seat
Is that the same seat that is used on the CVO models?
Oh man. I spent a long time doing just this research. There are so many solo options and double the opinions. It really is a personal preference in the end, but seats can be a significant investment. I wanted a Backrest and that narrowed the field a bit. In the end, I ordered the Corbin Classic Solo with Ovalback Backrest. I decided to take it as designed with no changes, but went with all leather. Just waiting for it to arrive now. Expect it to be a few more weeks. I won’t really be able to try it until the spring, but hoping it will work for me. Good luck on your search. Note: I did own a Corbin and a Mustang in the past. Really preferred the leather seating on the Corbin and comfort seemed similar to me for either seat.
I am looking at solo w/ backrest too. C&C gets a lot of great reviews on here.. so i've been leaning that way. But my dad has always ridden Corbin and talks about how comfortable they are.

LOL ..... I have/had all of the above including a 2018 CVO SG sear. I like the CVO seat better than the Low Profile. Just sold the Mustang. Frankly I like them all and actually rotate them on my 2 FLHâs. Iâm a seat ***** .....
Looking for a solo seat be sure there is enough gap under it to conceal the tour pack harness. I bought a new CVO Street Glide seat and there was no room to stow it. I ended up with a Saddlemen Dominator. Iâm a skinny *** 175 and it has taken some breaking in but itâs getting there. One thing I do like about it is that it is back rest ready and there are a couple pillion you can add if desired. Oh and the saddle has raised me and pushed me forward about an inch guessing.
