BEEEEEUUUTIFULLLLL. Best of the new lineup, great bike, great color. I can't believe your dealer, wife, mother, the girl, next door, the US Senate, and the Dali Lama have not publicly recognized your awesome ability to pick out the best of best in life, but I have. Great job, rock on.

Thanks man, your awesome. Funny stuff. Totally made my day.
KB congrats!!! Amazing looking color! I'm sure it doesn't sound amazing with all those mods you didn't do. I'd imagine if you ever did do those mods you'd be very busy riding and smiling...ear to ear in fact. Quite a nice image on that bike. Someday I hope to be lucky enough to meet Olive, and maybe hear some of her "negativity" in person....or maybe her sister on YouTube? In the meantime enjoy your beast!! Can't wait to hear about your continuing adventures together!

Thanks Fish, you rock. To be honest, I'm finding difficult to decide between breaking out the wrenches and just leaving it alone. It's every bit as sweet as you and the others described. Makes the direct comparison between itself, the king and my xbones very clear. Kinda makes me like the bonez even more in the fact that it's very clear, when you hop on the bonez, it actually feels so similar to my WL. Heavy, slow, and absolutely oozing with Harleytude. Exactly what you want sometimes.
The new Heritage, I got to say, Is pretty tough to describe. It's definitely exactly what I've been waiting on the Moco to do since they dropped the evo in 99. As you have commented, They have managed to recapture that power pulse that makes you just want to keep going and going. Its the real deal DNA i been wanting since the evo. It's got soul. But, not buzzy or busy. More like a good massage. Then there's all the other great stuff. Controls are intuitive, handling is so neutral and easy, then the engine, delivery of power across the range had me in 6th like wtf. I'm sure I missed a gear and I was looking for another. Till I looked down. More useable power. Then I went looking for harsh roads. Suspension puts up with anything you throw at it. I'll still look to rob the seat from my bonez, because I love the feel and look. But if I didn't, I could still be very happy. Only quality control issue I've seen so far are the badges and gas cap. I'm rather pedantic, but my badge and gas cap on the left are a few millimeters different lower than the right. I always check these things. BADGES were on my radar in the post from a month ago when I said the first thing I'm going to take off is... I've got a thing for changing them. Anyway, will keep you posted. Thanks again.

Sounds like you're in Heritage Heaven! Glad it lived up to the hype
I'm approaching 5,000 miles on my Heritage and it has only gotten sweeter and sweeter. I am having the same reaction to my '09 Dyna Fat Bob that you are with your Bones...Somehow I'm appreciating it even more for the charm it has versus what it reminded me of before I had the M8...basically "I like it, but it's no Evo..." crossed my mind a lot on the Dyna...now for some reason I just relax and get kick out of it....when I'm not riding my M8 or FXR...Old Harleys are usually the sweetest and now the TC has a little bit of extinction juice in its veins I guess. Somehow this M8 feels this way even brand new, but I'll take it any way it comes.
I haven't noticed my badges being off, but I'm not going to measure now that you've pointed it out. My caps are all good so far, don't want to tempt fate too much .

I been trying to put this into words all day....it's a real head scratcher, Im not sure how they did it, and I'm not sure I can say exactly the same of some of the other m8s I've ridden, but with the heritage, it's like a ghost of previous engine era haunts the bike....in a great way.
