can you elaborate on this as I will be installing 10" yaffee bars in a few weeks. I have the bars but I am researching what's need to install them.
thanks
U will have to clip off the zip ties that are holding the wires under the radio. Then route them back towards the bars. The wires coming out of the bars will have about 3" of extra. The throttle by wire will be really long still.
...... 3rd day with the new2me SERG
.... needed to maintain a little more momentum when making a U-ie w/this heavier baby.
.......... & s'more 'shield time' with the different hand positions on the bars.
... no damage (whew!), the engine guard/crash bars did their job.
.......... and if i had to lay it down, this was the perfect spot to do it at, no traffic, stable surface & flagged down a guy walking thru the neighborhood to assist w/pick up (i swear this machine is waay heavier than the '05)
.......... oh well, at least that 1st one's outta the way now ...... whoopee

Glad all is OK. Last one I dropped was a Kawi C14. Not as heavy, but still, when it wanted to go down, there was nothing I could do to stop it. (Had a passenger at the time too, which didn't help.) Guess it's just part of bike ownership. tp dd50
All I could do was admire her in the garage after the **** weather we've had in NJ over the past week. Today was a nice day, but the roads are still too crapped up.
