Some things that worked out well in my trailer:
- Battery Tender solar charger
- Etrack system throughout
- 2x4 etrack brackets to install storage platform above bikes
- Pringle adjustable & reoveable Etrack wheel Chock
Pingel Series E Track Wheel Chock System WC65ER
Amazon Amazon

- tongue storage box.

love that checkered floor!

pretty cool, whats the 2 access doors for in the floor?

that biker bar looks nice but $400 at this point is not in the budget after buying the bike & trailer out right plus plates/registrations Christmas and bike needs some maintenance oh yeah and chrome! hoping to keep trailer upgrades under $200 so it looks like a chock and some straps for me

This may give you some ideas. The front end is strapped in such a way as to keep bike from moving forward or back. And they go high as possible to keep bike from tipping. Rear straps are as low as possible to keep rear end from sliding sideways. Eye bolts are welded so they can't spread open. They are bolted through floor into angle iron welded to frame with locknuts. Bike stays on jiffy and gets torqued down with ratchet straps enough to compress springs some. I have trailered the bike this way over some pretty rough roads and it hasn't budged. I suppose you could take four 2' long 2x4's and screw them onto floor next to tires for added insurance. Don't waste the money on a "rail". Also the 4' shop light really is an advantage.

Fox Chaser thanks

what ever chock i install i want to be easily removed from the floor and hang on the wall to clear floor space for loading cargo, thinking D rings every 2ft on each side that tie into the frame & maybe E track on the side walls not sure and some 12v LED interior lights that can be ran off a small car battery

any one have a problem with traction on plan wood floor ramp? tread plate or grip tape needed?

where are you guys putting the straps at on your bikes?

thinking of these brackets?

this one mounts to the front tank bolts?

I use Pingel removable wheel chocks. You can get them cheaper from other vendors.
http://www.pingelonline.com/prodcat/...eel-chocks.asp
For floor D Rings, I use the heavy duty type with a steel backing plate that goes under the floor, and the D ring is through-bolted to it.
Amazon Amazon
I usually hook my tie downs to straps that I loop around the handlebars but Harley sells chrome tie-down "eyes" that bolt onto the front forks.

I don't have a trailer but recently got a lift table. Been searching a good wheel chock. Looking at different videos I came across a good wheel chock for a bike in a trailer. Rather than strapping the bike down with handlebars or the frame, the straps go over the front tire. They were talking about the possibility of blowing a seal in the lowers. The rear straps were like a seat belt strap that retracts or gets tighter when slack. Looked pretty slick.
