Default setup enclosed trailer to haul electra? show me your setup?

hey all!

last week i picked up an 2008 Electra Glide, today i picked up a used 6x12 enclosed trailer to keep it in when im not riding it during the summer (no garage space) but thinking it will come in handy for hauling it around at times to but there is no tie down points in it so looking for tips on setting it up to secure the bike down when in tow

whats a decent wheel chock? D rings or E-track?

not looking to impress any one just make sure the bike is safe when being trailered like to keep cost down to spend more on the bike itself

please feel free to post your trailers

Bob

I have a 7x12 enclosed I can haul 2 Ultra's staggered in it
I have D rings & etrack both. I haul everything in mine Have condor & harbor freight wheel chicks both work fine
All you need is one wheel chock & four D rings I like to tie the rear down to keep it in place
If possible bolt them to a cross member under trailer floor

I have D-rings from Harbor Freight in my trailer. I bolted them through the floor to the trailer frame.
Don't forget to keep an incandescent light on when you store the bike in the winter or you will have surface corrosion when you open up the trailer in the spring.

thanks for the light tip just plan on summer parking winters will be in a climate control storage

Biker Bar looks pretty cool and simple but this is trailer will probably be mostly bike parking with other use's to and it would be in the way, was looking at the harbor freight chock but didnt know if it was any good, looks like i'll grab one!

trailer has a 2"x3" tube frame 24" centers for the cross beams might have to weld in some angle iron peaces to have the D rings or E track tied in to them

pleased with this trailer for $600 brand new tires all the lights work and doors are in good shape, inside panels need to be replaced and i might install a new floor this one is still ok but its only i think 1/2 thick and with 24" centers i'd feel better with 3/4 or even 1" down there, rear stabilizers and a really good cleaning

I think I'd leave it grungy on the outside, thieves wouldn't suspect a Harley in that, probably think some kind of business trailer with lawn equipment or plumbing supplies inside.

I've got a 7'W x 14'L R & R tandem axle w/the extra height. Use the wheel chocks the dealer must have gotten from R & R as well as 2 D-Rings each front & rear. 3/4" Floor and have had no issues other than straps loosening up but that was my own fault by not having enough ratcheted in to they worked loose.

Sold this 24’ but will pick up a 8.5x14 Friday. Still going to use the Biker Bars and they are easy to remove the mount if you need the floor space. It takes 30 seconds and they are gone, 30 second and installed when needed.

You really want overkill?
Forget Harbor Freight.
What you want is Pitbull.
