The day I brought it home in OCT of 1981 It was built in March of '81 Making it one of the last AMF Shovelheads. 1981FLHC
I still ride this one, And love it. Actually, I found that it is more comfortable than the newer ones as the handle bars come back further allowing me to sit straighter. The newer ones for me the front feels heavy. Until I found one that had the handlebars pulled back.
