It looks to me like the bars are not on correctly. Seems they may possibly be off center favoring the right looking at the instrument gauge. Either that or they could possibly be bent? Hard to say looking at the picture.

Good eye. I may have rode the thing for years without noticing.

I know, I know, it's a curse ! LOL.
I think the bars are okay. There really isn't any solid reference points to measure from because everything is curved but the bars look symmetrical on both sides. The fairing reference to the column does not though, with the bars straight. I guess you spend almost 30k on a bike, you would expect it to be pretty close to perfect. I work for an automotive component manufacturer and the quality standards and checks are nuts. Even though I hate letting other people work on my stuff, I'll get it out in the spring and see what I got and go from there. Thanks again, Mike

Sorry you are having issues like this with a new bike. I had to go out and sit on my 2017 RGU just to see for myself; mine is perfectly straight in every direction.

The lower mounts at the front engine guard were the only points that occurred to me as possible (mis)alignment areas.

Which goes back to what I pointed out earlier. Would not hurt to loosen both sides to see if things come to where they should be. That's a 3 minute job. I know that is something I would try.

I agree with you on the lower mounts.

Tried just loosening the lower mounts to see if the fairing would kind "home" itself. No movement at all. Buy I did notice a very deep large scratch down on the inner fairing between the fork tower and the inner fairing itself as if someone was trying to pry it or something. Dealer is closed today, but I'll be on the horn tomorrow for sure. Killer is there were two identical bikes there and I wanted the other just for the mere reason it had 12 miles on it and the one I got had 14. The sales guy said it was easier to pull this one out, so I said sure, what's a few more miles. F$#K!!!!

Yes for sure get it back to the dealer asap. Red flags for sure now that you see scratches, cable harness was twisted and front looks off.

Any one know what these threaded lugs are for? There isn't a fastener coming through from the top and nothing attached from the bottom. There's one on each side right where the support arms to the crash bar come through. Some other accessory bolt here ? Just curious
