Just got back from getting the stage 2 torque cam in the 17 Ultra. Best upgrade I've done.
Is it a race bike? Heck no but it does pull like a tractor now!
Didn't dyno tune it, it runs so dang good from just the download I don't see the need to spend $300 on a dyno.
M8 forum? Did you at least get a decent map? I just can't comprehend how people won't spend the money on a tune after dropping coin.
I fully agree. A bone stock bike will pick up HP and Torque from a tune.
Here is just an complete exhaust system with the canned map loaded, the blue lines. The blue is higher HP and higher torque than stock. The final run is after a good dyno tune. You can see 10 HP and 10 torque over the canned map.

If y'all are feeling generous feel free to send me the $300+ and I'll get a tune lol.
Even the dealer advised against the tune for this setup saying they didn't get a big enough increase to justify it.
All I can say is the bike runs better now than it did before it went in.
I got the torque cam last year.Made a huge difference.I did not let Them dyno either.I don't believe that They can pull that much of a difference using the street tuner.I did four smart tunes and I bet it is just as good as a dyno.

Of course the dealer advised against it, especially if the dealer "dyno tunes." Most dealerships are horrible at tuning, so he probably didn't want to waste your time. I can guarantee that a good tuner will make the $300ish dollars worth it. Don't short yourself.
Glad the OP likes it. I will probably be doing stage 2 cams to my 114 engine. May or may not have the dealer do the dyno. Depends how much I want to let my money blow in the wind with just using a street tuner lol.

300 dollars for 10 HP and 10 torque is a very good deal for more power

You are correct, with the street tuner you will not get much, it cant alter the fuel ratio, nor the timing. With a full feature tuner I bet you would pick up a lot.
