2013 883 left in garage for a whole year ! what should i do now ?
HI !
I'm new to the forum. My dad has an 883 but he didn't ride it because of back surgery. He gifted it to me after I graduate!
The battery was disconnected so it starts up with no problem. The nearest dealer is about 50 miles away. I just want to know is there anything that I need to check before I ride it to the dealer for maintenance?

3 quarts of oil, 1 quart of tranny fluid, 1 quart of primary fluid, 1 pint of DOT5 brake fluid a filter and a few gaskets and O rings.
A buddy and an hour.
Drain and refill the gas

Tranny and primary are all in one, no separate trans fill. You need 1 quart of Sportster Trans/primary oil. Some 2006 models, and all 2007 and up used DOT4 not 5
