Default to each their own opinion 2018's

I have a 2016 low rider with a 120R with 5400 miles on it. I love the bike but went to a dealership to look at the new bikes and I am a little disappointed. I do not like at all the soft tail low rider they have cheapened it some. I looked at the breakouts and with the 114 they look nice but I hate the head lights and handle bars cheap black. I guess I could chrome up a little but don't know if trading is worth it !

Might change your mind if you rode one and how may harleys are left stock? I personally love the new bikes, was looking at a road king special in black 2 days ago and wouldn't mind a breakout or fat boy too.

I don't know my man. I have more miles than that on a 2018 Road King I bought 5 months ago. Are you sure you ride enough to take a bath on trading up so soon? Your cash, your choice. I'd get out and lay down some miles on the one you have...you may just love it.

I usually go with my gut instinct in most things- your first impulse is done with no over analysis and is the true feeling.
If you're looking, it means you've seen something you want- go for it.
I have no cosmetic opinion of the new line, my bike is all I need.
H-D did the right thing by going away from the Twink engine in my opinion.

Krouke You are correct "to each their own opinion 2018's." So here is My opinion I don't care any more for the 2018s than I did from the 08s to the 18s. My 07 was, and still is my favorite Harley ever built. The color is perfect, and the build is just right. So there you have it, my opinion. Of course you know what they say about opinions LOL They are like butt holes every one has one and most of them generally stinks.

IMO Your bike is as nice or nicer than anything being offered by HD.

If you sell or trade it for a new bike, it will be for some reason other than need.

Rarely is a m/c purchased based on need.

Your money, you enjoy it.

I also think the pre-2018 Breakout looks better but 2018s probably outperform them in every way.

I like the 18's, especially the Heritage Classic in primer red but plan to have my RK paid off with our tax refund next year and do not plan to by anything else. Besides i love my RK to death, no want for anything different.

The new Softails look like Japass, and I would NOT be seen riding one. Your Lowrider is awesome, 'specially with the 120R. I would keep it.
