'11-up XL1200C-Who's got 'em?
These are handmade so I was afraid the color wouldn't match but I didn't realize the seat and passenger pad had faded so much already. Hopefully the bag will fade for a closer match. Really like the look though. Progressive 430's 11" are next.
My XL1200CP ordered via the H-D1 factory custom program and delivered in May of '15. Except for the cast wheels, it's basically a clone of the XL1200CB that Harley used to offer in some offshore markets.
From the factory:
- mini-apes
- forwards
- denim black paint
- black engine
- black cast wheels
- ABS
By me:
- Mustang Wide Touring Vintage Solo and Wide rear seatpad
---- Installed when I pulled in my garage from the dealer
- H-D Convertible windshield
---- Zero buffeting!
---- Adapted to mid-glide forks using Bung King brackets
- H-D Express Rider saddlebags
15K miles later, it works well for me. At 68, still able to do the occasional 900-mile day.

Just tuned the Fatboy with the Power Vision 2 and I'm putting some Rush slip-ons on the Sporty. I'll probably tune it too since you can use the PV 2 on different bikes.
Having two bikes really holds down the mileage on both bikes.
Bought it with 6000 miles and now tuning it.
Added the following so far:
- Daymaker head lamp
- Harley Crash bars
- La Pera swing arm Bag
- easy remove seat bolt
- HD chrome grip clutch paddle
In the works are the following (month or two); new hand grips, custom angled number plate holder, foot controls, HD Premium Tail bag.
More in the future (six months or so): RSD transparent derby cover, V&H slip-on with upgrade filter and tuner to Stage 1, seat (cannot find something that looks like the original and is more comfortable (gel?) with a bit more back support), mirrors, and may be better suspensions.

The Best of Harley-Davidson for Lifelong Riders
Daymaker
Harley crash vivid black crash bars
La pera swing bag, which does not remove passenger pegs
Harley Rubber and grip foot controls
Kuryakn rubber and chrome grips (very similar to Harley r and g) but 60% cheaper
Roland Sands derby cover with visible clutch spring
I'd suggest not leaving your fob on the key ring. the added weight may damage the ignition switch. plus a minor mishap, could leave you stranded. That is if you don't know your code.
I just wear mine around my neck, out of the way and always with me.
