02 RKC was my first Harley, great year for HD. Beefed up the rear end, Delphi fuel injection, 88 tc was good motor, only draw back was the cam chain tensioners. With 24k on the bike I would have someone look at them. I changed mine at 28k. Front showed little wear but the inside was 50% wear. Thing is, to check the tensioner shoes you need to drop the exhaust, and if you go that far, you might as well replace them. Search cam chain tensioners on the forum and you'll find lots of info. Some people need them changed at 20k, others go 60k + with no problems.
As far as price, sounds about right. If you feel it is a good deal, it is. Like others have said 02 was a great year, wish I could have kept mine. Good luck

Thank you for your info. Yeah I am well aware of the cam chain tensioners. I fixed them on my 05 and would plan to open the cam chest on the 02 before going too far. Cannot rely on the shop or old owner to verify, better to do it yourself.
Solobip, its standard police air ride seat. I have the air bladder and tank. The hand rail is from Drag specialties and I mounted it on the pan of the seat by carefully drilling and tapping the mounting holes.
I have an 09 Road King Classic that I have been kicking around the idea of selling. I have not made up my mind yet though. I get the itch for a different bike every few years and recently I have been thinking of another Electra Glide. I only live less than an hour from you too. The picture doesn't do it any justice, the color is turquoise and white. Its been lowered front and rear, and has Rush slip ons. Other than that its pretty much bone stock. 36000 miles and maintenance documentation since the first mile rolled onto the odometer. The only thing I know its going to need is a new rear tire. But it does have a new front tire last year, new front brakes and caliper and a brand new Screaming Eagle compensator, maybe some other stuff Im forgetting.
