I like the looks of the vintage covers on top of the '60's FLH and XL shocks and was wondering if anyone tried them on Fat Bob shocks? I'm going for that era, looks wise...
When I looked at the covers you pictured, If I remember correctly the diameter was too small for fat bob shocks so I got a pair of switchback shocks for my street bob. I have fat Bob shocks on my super glide and it looks like you could make switchback covers work with them. You could always get some Switchback shocks from the git go. I find the Fat Bob and Switchback shocks the same in quality.
