Then I'll ride and make some adjustments. After that it's back on the lift to install a matching Night Dragon tire, chrome belt pulley with chrome bolts, chrome bolt kit for caliper, polished rotor, chrome rotor bolts, chrome rear axle bolt covers, new tail light, shorter rear chrome turn signal stalks, and I may install chrome upper and under final drive belt covers. I think I may prefer the cleaner look with no belt guards at all.
Later, all chrome handlebar control covers, chrome lever brackets, chrome master cylinder, chrome calipers.

The "eagle" has landed. Researching foam, adhesives, and leather for the new seat... Heading to Tandy leather tomorrow after lunch with friends.
Made a custom turnbuckle for the top engine link...

Like you, I have an unheated shop, and it's pretty cold up here right now. In addition, any heat inside the shop (all steel) in this weather causes condensation and dripping. Waiting for the weather to warm a bit so I can finish buttoning the top end up.
Next summer's project: spray insulation....
Made some floorboards for my forward controls to give me a mid control feel at times. Also made the wifey some mini floorboards for herself. Stoked how they ride.

On pre-CANbus bikes the old gauge needs to stay on the bike; the new gauge is connected to the bike with a data link and the ODO data is transferred to the new gauge. From there the old gauge can be removed and the new gauge installed. If you simply install the new gauge without transferring data the new gauge will display 'NO CAL' and won't function.
In both cases, the new gauge will lock to the ECM after 31.1 miles...
