That's right, you're using the same cylinder/piston combination I am. Those Kramlocks look great in the video where the pistons are locked into a fixture, but it's a different story on the end of a connecting rod with the rod wanting to go one way while the piston ***** in the other direction, and vice versa. I was waiting for one of those locks to come zinging out of the groove and imbedding into my cheek or adams apple every second I was screwing with them...
On a whim I decided to order some 3 watt LED bolts to replace the 1 watters that came with the Delt Fab lever signals. Should be a direct swap. I didn't yet tear the levers apart to verify the thread pitch, but the external dimensions were the same so I'm pretty confident. If not, I'll make them work one way or t'other.
Oznium
3W vs 1W (both 11mm)
23 lumen vs 10 lumen
Stainless vs Aluminum
180 degree viewing angle vs 60
IP68 vs IP67
I've been using these in my cars for years (interior lighting...dome/map/trunk/engine bay... I absolutely love them.
ETA...
Tore apart the levers. The 3W and 1W are direct swaps. Delt Fab appears to be using Oznium LEDs...or maybe clones. The one I took out isn't quite as nicely finished as the Oznium I had. Not that it matters. It worked fine. The colorless one below is the Amber that I took out. The yellow one is a warm white I had laying around.

I think it will be worth the effort but I will remove the wheel, fender, and pop those chrome fork tube caps off, and take more time with it. A project for later.
Here is an ok pic I think.
PS. I wet sanded left to right. The opposite direction the buffing wheel was turning, but with the wheel off I will sand up and down then be able to better polish it with the buffing wheel/drill. Also I have some 1500 and 2000, I'll try those after the 1000 next time around. I'll get some flat polishing pads and finish up with some Mother's All Metal Polish.
Might want to remove the amber reflectors before you start. They're held on via 2-sided tape.
i'm in the minority that says put them back when finished. cars hurt
Guess I'm in that same minority... Stealth looks cool, but drivers aren't looking for stealth. Most times they are not looking, period, just getting from point A to B, as quickly as possible. tp
Still raining, so nothing with the Dyna today. dd50

Don't companies do any "focus group", or consumer feedback testing any more?

In retrospect, you're absolutely right. I felt like I was trying to bait a hook with a live eel while holding the whole mess in a bucket of lithium grease.

I'll give it some thought. I do wear a highly reflective Cortech jacket when I ride at night. I'll start wearing the highly reflective matching pants again when I lose some more weight.
