Default brake rotor help please

I am in the process of installing new brake rotors on my 2010 Street Glide. Im changing the stock rotors out for Harley floating rotors. First question is it doesnt seem as though there is a special left and right rotor with the floaters? both same part number and no directional arrows either? 2nd question is that there is an engraved slot mark on one of the rotor bolt holes as if ti indicate this bolt hole should be lined up in a special place? any insight would be appreciated. Thanks

If they look like this I too wondered that and came to the conclusion that there is no left/right and the mark in that one bolt hole means nothing for installation. However, I was going to be sure to line up that mark to be the same on each side just in case.

I've used H-D floating rotors, of a different style, for some years now, but haven't had any problems with them. They can only go on one way round, due to the screw recesses. I've recently used EBC floating rotors and they fit in exactly the same way - the only way possible!

When I changed the front wheel the FSM states too match up the hole pattern on the rotors. So basically the pattern should match up on ea side.

Thanks, I did the same thing. I lined up the marks so they matched from side to side. Thanks again!
