Then I'm the one with an upside down headlight! I've always seen them with the low beam on the bottom. I guess it doesn't make a difference. Looks good regardless and way better than the stock light. As a reference this is what I'm used to:
Dude that's wierd and looks like you got pics from same instagrahm page. The legal writing is on top of my light and Tommy said to place it with high beam down but maybe they can go either way. It does work well, I'm going to call Moonsmc and ask or maybe when I go to next Long Beach Bike Swap Meet.
High beam on bottom, it points up to illuminate up and out, low on top to not blind oncoming traffic and highlight the road. At least that's how I interpreted it.
Pete included a logo plate with the seat pan but being polished stainless, it didn't really show up on the polished aluminum where I'm putting it. After a few ideas that didn't suit me, I think I found one...an embossed leather backer. 10 ton press, a little water, and Viola. I like it...now, I just have to resist the urge to make the pan out of carbon fiber. What's wrong with me!?
Also learning the techniques, tools, and settings to sew leather on my vintage sewing machine.
Now I need to work on the pattern making...

I got some LED switchback bulbs on Amazon. White when running, and switch to amber when you hit the turn signal. Super bright. You will need load resistors unless you don't mind the hyperflash. *side note* I did have to use a dremel to chamfer the rear of the LED bulb housing because the bulb wouldn't go in quite far enough to twist the bulb in order to lock it in place. Easy fix though, took me like 5 minutes.
