If you are up for going mid glide on the front end, the roadster wheels are super bargain at ~300 each and weight next to nothing. Gets you wider tire options (120-130 ) shaves mega weight and look hella good.
Mineral based AT3 duplicates the viscosity of Dexron III ( roughly 8 weight at high operating transmission temperatures) unlike the cool temps our H-D forks exhibit even under harsh conditions - and even My Moto-Cross KTM and Yamaha's during a 30 minute moto dont get as hot as a car transmission. But While Synthetic AT6 is a thinner viscosity fluid that exceeds Dexron VI requirements ,that is what I'm going to try after reading your recommendation and opinion . My forks are due for a seasonal oil change to begin with and I actually have 2 quarts of the Synthetic AT6 in my shop , so I'm going to try it and Thanks for the tip and I'll let you know how it works out .

I ran atf in an older Honda Shadow that I used for commuting. It made a world of difference. Prior to the fluid swap it was sacked out, spongy, did not feel good to ride. After the atf the front suspension would soak up most of the degraded roads and felt firm and comfortable. What a difference.

Those are definitely mag nicer wheels.. I really haven't found any others I care for except the old PM Chicane wheels. Hard to find in 5.0-5.5 x 18. The only problem is with the Roadster wheels is that the rear is only likely 3.5 inches wide and the fattest tire you can probably run on it is a 160. It would be great if it were 5.0 to 5.5 inches wide for a 180 tire.

I ran PM Chicanes an a custom Sportster I built in the late '80s... I LOVED those wheels!

Oh, and "hard wheelie landings" tells me someone doesn't like their bike.
I'll be HONEST and UP FRONT WITH YOU DUDE.....when I GET INTO THE REALM and Mindset of doing burnouts and wheelies after 3rd gear and shifting up from 2nd the front fork setup on my 01 FXDX needs a reliable and sturdy realm to land upon and the fork brace, progressive springs,Dampeners and other components means mI LOVE MY BIKE,IT PERFORMS WONDERFULLY,REBOUNDS AND RESPONDS STABLY AND WITOUT WOBBLE AND OR NEGATIVE DAMPENING OR REBOUND REACTIONS TO LET ME COME DOWN TO EARTH ON A STRAIGHT TRACK AND PRE-CONCEIVED PATH AND DIRECTION .
Ugh, I cant settle on what I want to do. Im torn between just getting stiffer springs for about $100 or going with the Öhlins Nix 22 cartridges. The isssue Im having is finding the right part numbers. Ive found Fxd 1991-2016 but clearly theres a huge variance in the circumference and length in those years...seems like a hassle to try to get the right measurements. I wish there was just a quick link for 2001 FXDX (which at stock length is +2 anyway right?)
