the gasket set on the cooler cover so i put a filter on and rolled is ot to let it run. ran it for ten minutes and there was no issues or leaks but, it wasn't under load, we will have to see how this plays out later.
washed it again, this time, thoroughly to get all that oil out of the hard to reach areas. found a lot while i was working on the cooler plumbing. foam cannoned with citrus wash in the crevasses, then hand washed again, waxed and all that stuff.
tried s100 engine brightener. way cleaner than gunk engine shine. will have to see how bad it smokes compared to the gunk shine.
I use S100 all the time, and it never smokes. Don't use the engine bright but. It's the best stuff I've used.
the engine bright doesn't get rinsed off, it kinda gets baked on. i will start it up a little later to see what we get. there was much less slop than the gunk shine.

little smoke but not the bbq of the gunk. i like s100
took the bike out and beat on it to see how the cooler adapter held up. it worked out just fine. filter never budged, i marked it with a white marker and repeatedly checked it during the run. no oil anywhere to be found.
I saw the endoscope vid on youtube and searched out the thread to see what happened. Looks like you've had an interesting week or two. Glad its sorted now.
