Obviously

It’s probably one of the most common mods out there. Putting a bigger wheel on will raise the front end. How do you combat that? By lowering the front back down. It’s common sense dude. You may want to save that round for yourself.

I need to get pictures posted up, but I got it all done about a week ago. Chrome sliders with a 21 in enforcer. I ended up doing it myself, pretty simple forks to do. I used progressive lowering springs and screamin eagle heavy fork oil and I really like how the fork feels now. It rides better than stock. The stock Showa fork has a short spring and about a 4-6 inch long preload spacer, where the progressive uses a long spring and .5 inch preload spacer. I don’t think monotubes would be much better, if at all. It certainly shines compared to the shocks that’s for sure. If I ever decide to upgrade anything the shocks will go but I’ll probably leave the fork alone.

I have a 21 on mine. Not lowered. I didn't notice any handling difference. I'd rather keep suspension travel.

Love that color! How do you like your thunder header? I did a 1 inch drop on mine and it still sits a smidge higher than stock. I read kinda mixed reviews on lowering with a 21 vs not lowering with a 21 and decided to just lower it since the springs were only about 100 bucks.

21 front and 18 on the rear, thought about lowering it but with the wide foot boards I put on I kinda like the extra ground clearance for spirited riding, paid too much for them to be dragging!

I didn't even realize your original post was from a month ago and you were already done lol. Thunderheader sounds good but its the usual **** chrome and even shittier customer service from them. They are by far the absolute worst company to deal with. Even their dealers hate dealing with them.

Still makes no sense to me. I did in fact put a 19" front on my Road King and had no such problems. But raising another 2" only to want to lower? Yeah, ya lost me, or maybe I just don't do stupid well enough to understand.

FWIW I am not about to do ANYTHING to compromise the travel of my forks. Both of my bikes have upgraded suspension.
