Does anyone have the HD Chopped Engine Guard of the M8? How do you like it? Can you use your heels to brake and shift? Thanks, thinking of getting it for my 17' Road King.
Didn't realize what you were talking about until I did a search. For the money I would opt for something different, say Factory 47. A few other companies make nice engine guards as well.
I also have it an like having the protection it provides but with a minimalist look. My only issue so far is it seems to be larger than the bar from the factory, plus to compound that, there's a weld/swell right where I want to add highway peg mounts and because of that, for the life of me I can't get them to fit... the bar is just too fat.
The dealer's parts book lists no conflicts or incompatibility, but I've tried and can't get them on. I'm going to the dealer to have them do it.
