The XLCH was kick only. The XLH was electric start.
If you put 4 5/8 stroke K-Model flywheels in a 1000cc Sportster it gave you a 72 inch motor. Hope this helps....
I think maybe the key word here is "build"
The bike posted by the OP, is basically a stock Sportster with a few mods. Not what I'd consider a "build", but representative of what you would have seen a lot of in the 70's.
