Believe it or not, it is less than 1/2" from center-line of the frame. With a 240 I could get it very close to centered.

Started mocking up the fender...most people want to get the fender rear low like they see in mags on rigid framed bikes...just can't do that with strut mounted fenders...especially if you ever want to put a 2 up seat on it. With the shocks off,use a jack and put the swingarm up against the bumpstops...put the fender and seat on and position the fender where it looks good and fits the seat...may have to compromise a little. Once you think you like it...clamp or tape it position and lower the swingarm to normal height...and see if you still like it. Spend a lot of time with this before drill any holes...back to work.



















Nice welder, looks just like mine. It works better than I do.
