Default DynoJet Power Commander V

I have a 2015 HD Street Bob with an Arlen Ness Super Sucker, Vance & Hines Short Shots with straight baffles, and a DynoJet Power Commander V. I purchased the bike last week and was wondering if it automatically calibrates the correct program, or do I need to program it? All of these components were already on the bike when I bought it, and the seller didn't know anything about the bike. He basically bought it two years ago, rode it a couple of times, and then put it in storage. When he took it out of storage a couple of months ago, he put two new tires, a new belt, and a new battery. While riding at cruise, it has a short miss that seems to be electronic. When it misses, the speedometer pegs and the oil light comes on, but then goes back to normal in about a half second. Sort of gurgles, loses power, and then half a second later, it's back cruising. No sputter or anything. Just a miss. Almost as if I throttle down and then back, but I'm not moving the throttle. Thanks.

Had a great conversation with Justin at DynoJet. Troubleshooting the issue.
He recommended removing/disconnecting the tuner, reconnect factory wiring to the computer and run a few miles to see if the issue stops.
Removed the tuner yesterday. May ride a few miles today to see if it stops slugging. I'll update again soon.

You bike may have failing speed sensor . Remove the sensor and see if it needs to be cleaned. Sometimes, fine metal shavings or a paste like film from normal transmission wear can cover the end.

I had a dyno power commander go bad on me once. Like someone said just disconnect it and see what happens.

Found it. I removed the tuner and the same thing happened. Random cutting in and out at cruise. Except I noticed something odd. When I would hit a bump was when it happened most often. Checked wires for a loose connection and nothing. Everything was tight. Getting back on the bike after leaving the gym, I threw my leg over the seat, and in the words of Forrest Gump, "Something bit me", right on the inside of my right thigh. Freaking hot as a branding iron. I thought it was some wires in front of the battery box shorting out, so I figured I'd ride home and give it a shot. Getting off the bike, I sort of pushed my thigh against the battery box, and the most incredibly painful sensation again, right inside my right thigh. Like a yellow jacket on steroids. When my thigh pressed against the battery box, it was grounding the battery against the box and energizing the battery box cover. 2 second degree burns the size of a dime, burned the skin right off my inner thigh. I took some 3M wire insulating tape and covered the inside of the battery box and covered the battery terminals and no more random misses. (And no more burns). I installed the controller back on to the computer, and just like that, my Street Bob was roaring smooth as ever. What a difference when the connections are solid. When the battery was grounding, that split second, it was killing power to the system causing the sputter. Now I have two burn marks on my battery box where the powder coating has melted opposite the battery terminals. I'm lucky I didn't completely fry the circuit board. Problem solved.
