2024 Street Glide. I added the Adversary heated grips when I installed the La-Choppers handlebars over the winter. I went with the 10-inch bars. I bought the handle electrical harnesses to speed the assembly. The heated grips work great. Had to have the dealer link them to the BCM, I have the early 24"model. Pretty happy with the whole job. The Handlebar height keeps my hands from being in the wind. The dealer quoted me $670.00 labor. I did it in 3 hours. Have a buddy help, 2 extra hands can be super helpful.
heated grips are handy . I didn't know I needed them until I had them. I know heated gloves would probably work better, but being able to just press the button when it's a little chilly is very convenient.
I like my heated grips, I also have 10" bars on my ultra Limited. I went with the 10" bars because of some solder pain and it worked, I do wish I went with 12" but will live with it.
My 2019 came with heated grips. I never had them previously. It is nice to have them in the summer rains that are over quickly, but the gloves get wet. Crank them up to 6 and it helps dry the gloves and warm the hands!
But for those days riding distance below 50 degrees, heated gloves work much better. They used to make glove for the heated grips with less insulation in the palms and heavy insulation on the knuckle side, but I have not found them in years.

Interesting! On my 25 RG, heated grips is the one mod I've held off on doing for the simple reason that I've been wondering whether or not heated gloves may be a better option. What I do know is that a good set of Gerbings are less than half the cost of HD heated grips.

A heated jacket liner with heated gloves work great. The advantage of the heated grips is that there are always available on the bike.
Do you happen to have pictures of the new bars in relation to the faring height? Thats the exact setup I am looking at, but I can't find pictures. Debating between 8"and 10" I'm waiting to get the ECU flashed for the grips.
here in the PNW we have a 12 month riding season and both heated grips and heated gloves together have been necessary for total comfort when in the 40s, as wind chill can turn into the 20s and grips alone don't cut it
I added heated Switchback grips to my 25 in March. The heat is great and the grip material is similar to Avon. Dealer charged me $70 for the install so I went ahead.
