I got dilemma. I consider 2 options buying stock 2020 (black and red one) and build it from scratch $14k or buy one already done (orange one) at $19k. I think building this bike from scratch will take more than 5K. What do you guys think? Both bikes are about same milage 500-1000 miles so kinda new
IMHO, there are several accessories/mods on the orange bike I wouldn't want, so to me, the red bike is the obvious choice.
I would suggest that you decide if you would need/want to put all the accessories/mods the orange bike already has, onto the red bike... If so, then to you, the orange bike would probably be the obvious choice.
That stock one looks so damn nice as it is, would you really need to spend 5K to make it look better?
I agree at least I would need to get some detachable bags for it. I think I would like to build this vicla style this time which is why I even consider this orange one as looking at this bike with fishtails, twisted spoke wheels, defiance boards and air suspension this is a lot os $$$$ that was spent there so seems to me it is easily 5k not to mention potential labor (I can do a lot of the work myself)
The other option I consider is buying 2022 Heritage in chrome $14k with 5k milesand get it as close to the DeLuxe as possible and this one already has cruise control and bags and it is 114

Good luck with your decision...
the only thing I dont like about orange one is handlebar as I want stock bars for comfort. Here are accessories listed seems to me in accessories alone there is probably about 5k easy
If it was me I would get the Heritage, but I have two of them.
i have to say this cruise control and bigger engine and 2 years younger machine has some advantages and at 13k with 5 K it is fair deal. When was the latest update to Heritage suspension 20124 or 2025?

Can't answer that definitively but my '23 has the mono-shock.
All great looking bikes. You need to ride each to decide what it's going to need to fit you. Without riding, I would go with the Heritage for the reasons sited above, and also the bars might not have to be changed.
