I've got a 2018 FXBB (Australian delivered) and still very happy with it, but as I ride quite a lot at night I hate that it doesn't have illuminated hand controls - sometimes finding the horn takes a little longer that I'd like!
Had anyone found an aftermarket solution to solve this? Don't want to spend a ton of cash, but it's a ****le I'd like to fix!
Ive never felt the symbols were useful enough other than standard blinker and start. The stuff on dresser is about useless. You must be better person than me to memorize those little symbols
No offense, but a thousand years ago part of the license test was operating the switchgear without looking at it.
Generally, if you need to hit the horn your eyes need to be on the road.
I can, and do, but would like to have some illumination, but you do you. A thousand years ago we didn't have electric start or LED headlights either. My little Honda, which cost about a tenth of the Harley has it, and I just like to have it.
I see the HOGLIGHTS sell Custom Dynamics Dynamic LED Mirrors. I wonder if the reflection off the lights on the mirrors would be enough to light up the hand controls. Trouble is they are not cheap ($400 plus postage) to experiment with.
